TVRDO 470 Saturday the 16th and Sunday the 17th of January

20 Years ago Muse released their 2nd album "The Origin of Symmetry" which made me a modest follower of this Teignmouth (Devon/UK) based band, we play the highlight of the album in my opinion "Space Dementia". In the Vault we have Stevie Lange with a promo song for a Womans bodyspray called Limara. The single, produced by the Jeff Wayne Music Company, was only distributed at Boots or simular shops when you bought 3 Limara products. Stevie Lange is nowadays a vocal coach for Robbie Williams, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Atomic Kitten a.o. One of her chart performances was with the band Night, fronted by Manfred Mann's Earth Band vocalist Chris Thompson and "Hot Summer Nights". Our album of the month is by Like Wendy "The Fisher" and we have a live re-release by Fairport Convention. New releases by Leprous, Tiger Moth Tales, Galaad, UNALEI, Qirsh and a cover version of Joy Division by The Tea Party (Isolation). Brand new is the debut album by Perfect Storm music from the Netherlands (Groningen). The 2nd hour long tracks by Malibran, Marillion and Vangelis with music he composed and performed for a fashion show.
Broadcasting on the channel this Saturday between 21:00 and 22:00 hours (the 1st hour) and on Sunday on the Pop Rock FM channel between 20:00 and 22:00 hours (the full 2 hours). All times GMT+1.

TVRDO 469 Saturday the 9th and Sunday the 10th of January

The new Yes side project "Arc of Life" is featured in this show with a track from their upcoming album which will be released on February 12th. Also a new single by Airbag frontman Bjørn Riis, another track from Steve Hackett's new acoustic album "Under Mediterranean Skies", Vangelis and a track from his recently released album "Juno to Jupiter", Robert Berry reincarnated the band 3 for the 2nd time and called it 3.2 from which we play "A Fond Farewell", Sudlers Row from Delaware is also featured with a new single called "Concerned", and music collective Spirits Burning (BÖC, Gong, Hawkwind) teams up with science fiction and fantasy writer Michael Moorcock once more with the release of their album "The Hollow Lands". George Harrison's "All Things Must Pass" has been rereleased and we picked the track "Art of Dying" since it features Phil Collins and also because you don't hear it much on the regular radio stations. In the Vault a rare track from "Rock of Faith" by the late John Wetton and show starter is Anathema with a track from their "A Fine Day to Exit" released 20 years ago. This week and the coming 3 you can enjoy Dutch band Like Wendy, since their album "The Fisher" has been voted the Album of the Month January.

Sunday between 20:00 and 22:00 hours (GMT +1) on which is the full show and includes TVRDOverdrive with long tracks. This time by Italian outfit Qirsh, from Brazil the band Index and from the Netherlands Like Wendy.
