In this episode new releases by Nine Skies from France, Ambigram, Blind Golem and Archangel from Italy, Between the Jars and Kingfisher Sky from the Netherlands and from Greece we have the band Ciccada who's album "Harvest" is our Album of the Month. Well, back in the day there was this band called Cado Belle, which released only one album, but in their midst was Maggie Reilly and she joined Mike Olfield shortly after on his two most succesful hits "Moonlight Shadow" and "To France", and that's exactly the reason "Stones Throw From Nowhere" from Cado Belle dating back to 1976 is in the Vault this time. So, do we have a link to the Eurovision Song Contest from last week? We certainly do. As you may know the Eurovision song contest was a spin off of the Italian Sanremo Festival, founded in 1951. Le Orme entered that "competition" in 1986, to very little acclaim, but good enough to let you listen to that effort in "The Vault". For the last time Mexican band Cast as our album of the month with their closing song of the album Vigesimus. Some familiar faces this show: Procol Harum with their new EP "Missing Persons", a vamped up Gentle Giant's "Free Hand" album by Steven Wilson and a new album by Italian band The Watch, out in September. Front woman of the band IZZ, Laura Meade, with a song from her first solo album, Steve Hackett is joining forces with Geoff Tate (Queensrÿche), Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big, Sons of Apollo ao), Mel Collins (King Crimson, ao), Geoff Downes (Asia, Yes ao), Ian Paice (Deep Purple) for the Pink Floyd tribute album "Still Wish You Were Here".
